Hey, I am having a book review, One Indian girl by Chetan Bhagat. truly speaking its first time when i am reading Chetan Bhagat novels, because I really like the title and the Cover page, which attract me to read it.
but one thing which I don't like in this novel is some conversation chapters, it's like a Bollywood dialogues which really bored me. but besides this its a best novel to know how women think and what she really wants in her life.
one Indian girl is a story of Radhika Mehta, work at the distressed debt group Goldman Sachs, an investment bank.
The story opens with a destination wedding of Radhika with Brijesh Gulati, a
arrange marriage with decided by both of their parents at goa.
Brijesh Gulati is a simple guy who works on Facebook. This is a story of Punjabi family, where everyone enjoys marriage ceremony. surprisingly, Radhika's two exboyfriends Debu and Neel Gupta came to goa, to marry her.
Debu is a handsome guy and wants to marry Radhika and he forces her to replace Brijesh and marry with him at exact place goa.
Neel Gupta is a smart guy, but 20-year older than Radhika, they both have an affair, very soon Radhika realized that they have no future with each other, but now when Radhika get to marry Brijesh. Neel also wants to marry her.
now in the scene of her wedding, Radhika had 3 option as a groom, what happened there?
I am not going to tell you the complete story, you have to read it by your self.
This book is the best source to tell the world about today's successful women's and their capacity to take the decision and stand up for their rights, a woman who has their own opinion and had a faith on it.
Chetan's writing skill is good and he has narrated every character very well.
