Before reading Karana's wife, truly I did not know about Uruvi, who is she and what she thinks about her husband? how she decided to marry with Karna, who is always neglected by society because he is Sutputra.

Thanks to Kavita mam, for this great book, I really a big fan of her. she is a writer who wrote about Indian mythology especially focused on women's characters. she is the inspiration for every Indian women.

the uruvi story begins with the archery contest between Karauv and pandavs, where Karna's charioteer son openly challenged Arjun and his turn ridiculed for his lower birth. in this incident, Uruvi falls in love with Karna and she neglects all social humiliation, finally marries with him. she reconciles herself to being outcast queen. This is the story of Karana from Uruvi's point of view, uruvi always want to change Karana way of thinking. she wants to change her wrong decision, she is upset by his loyalty to Duryodhana.

This is the story of uruvi and karana's life struggle between kaurav and pandav. Uruvi is the eye witness to the twist and turns of karnas life destiny.

Recently I have read Sita: warrior of Mithila, where the author tells story of Sita as a warrior. it's my second time to read the mythological fiction novel, I love both of the novels and want to thank both authors for the great book. enjoy reading next time we are having another best book review for you...
